24-hour general strike is announced in Greece. The Greeks are protesting against salary and pension cuts and tax increases that will be from 2019.
Some public transport, hospitals, state and municipal government agencies, trains, airports are closed for four hours. It is the second day that sailors are on the strike. The movement of ships in the whole territory of Greece was suspended. The journalists were on the eve of a strike in order to cover the general strike.
