The volume of inter-banking foreign-exchange market,  from August 7 to 11, has sharply increased almost twice after the fall of the previous week by 3.8 times. At the same time, the trend of growth of dollar and euro exchange rate in the intra-bank  market was replaced with decreases in terms of sales in those foreign currencies, while the ruble transactions continued to fall, replacing the growth  by  decline. The exchange trading platform is still empty.

As a result, the dram depreciated from 479 to 478 drams /  1 against the US dollar, after the two-week stable level, devaluation of the euro has been replaced by appreciation- from 569 to 563 drams / euro and depreciating slowly  against the ruble from 7.9 to 8 AMD / 1 ruble.

According to the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (NASDAQ OMX Armenia), there have been no deals for the third consecutive month. Whereas, on August 7-11, the deals in the interbank market in dollars  amounted to $ 12.3 million at 478.90 drams / $ 1 average weighted exchange rate (last week 478.96 drams / dollar). At the same time, the growth of dollar exchange purchases (by 23,7% )by  banks in the interbank foreign exchange market was replaced by a 16% decrease, in sales the decline by 7% was replaced   by 1% growth. The 8% growth in the euro purchase was replaced by a 15% decline,  a 14.7% fall in sales was replaced by an increase of 21.4%.
