According to him, within 9 months the SRC has provided 860.5 billion drams of tax revenues, including VAT returns.

As to income growth, compared with the previous 9 months of the previous year, the state budget revenues grew by more than 74 billion drams or 9.4%.

Vardan Harutyunyan also noted that 640.7 billion drams were provided by tax authorities and 219.7 billion drams by customs authorities. Tax revenues, without VAT, were 818.5 billion drams, which is 8.8% or 65.9 billion drams more than the same period last year.

"It is noteworthy that the growth of revenues was ensured due to the increase in the efficiency of tax administration, in the conditions of overpayments, arrears and checks," said Vardan Harutyunyan.

The head of the State Revenue Committee informed that the actual overpayments of the state budget taxpayers as of October 1, 2017, which did not arise as a result of the calculations, decreased by 7.2 billion drams, while unpaid tax liabilities decreased by 6.5 billion drams as compared to 2016.

According to Vardan Harutyunyan, the number of inspections and studies carried out by the tax authority has been reduced by 47.8% over the year from September 2016 and by 34.3% within 8 months of 2017, which is the result of the risky taxpayer optimistic automation system, thanks to which tax inspections have become more targeted and effective.
