Ameriabank's team has entered the final round of the 8th World Online Assets and Liabilities Management (Virtual Banking) competition, held on 23 November in The Hague. Apart from Ameriabank, three more companies, including Bancop SA (Paraguay), Supervielle (Argentina) and Ficohsa (Honduras) entered the final stage.
According to Ameriabank's press service, 30 banks took part in the competition from Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe / Central Asia regions.
The competition refers to the assets and liabilities in banks as well as the risk management issues. It aims to contribute to the professional development of financial and banking sector, the transfer of alternative and innovative knowledge, exchange of international experience, strengthening and development of risk management in banks.
The competition was organized by SimArch Group within the framework of the financial-banking training portal and funded by FMO, a member of the International Development Bank of the Netherlands, a member of DEG, KfW Bankengruppe (KfW bank group) and PROPARCO French Development Agency.
