"This year, not only the overpayments haven't been collected, but also the VAT liabilities have been repaid at the expense of existing overpayments, as a result, the overpayment of this type of tax has decreased by more than 8.9 billion drams." This is reported by the SRC Information and Public Relations Department.
According to the published data, the VAT amounts payable to the credit budget by VAT calculations for January-August 2016 and 2017 have reduced for only 10 taxpayers by about 12 billion drams.
"Taking into account the indices, one can state that the positive VAT indicator in 2017, including the YATM VAT growth factor, is 27.1 billion drams or 28.1 percent," the SRC notes.
