The UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has included Armenia in the list of top 20 tourist destinations, Travel and Leisure reports.

The organization reports that in spite of the Karabakh conflict, the flow of tourists to Armenia increased by 18% in 2016. It is also mentioned that Armenia is the first Christian country and most of the foreign tourists are attracted by Christian architecture, in particular, churches with millennial history.
