Ameriabank has been awarded "the Best Bank of 2017 in Armenia" Award of the Financial Times famous organization's "The Banker" magazinem.

Ameriabank has been named Armenia's "Best Bank of the Year" by "The Banker" magazine for the third consecutive year and, in general, for the fifth time in its operation (previous prizes - 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016).

During the solemn ceremony held in London, the organizers of the contest noted that Ameriabank was recognized as a winner, taking into account a number of criteria, the Bank strengthened its leading position in the banking system of Armenia as a universal bank, preserved the position of the leading lender in the market and in the history of the country it was the first bank to cross over the $ 1 billion credit portfolio in 2016, at the same time had high liquidity indicators, introduced new technology solutions - developing online services learning to drive customer oriented policy.

He also highlighted the importance of effective cooperation with international structures, a great potential for sustainable growth and a balanced risk policy. In 2017 "the Best Bank of the Year" award was given to such well-known banks as BNP Paribas (Belgium and France), Bank of America (USA), Bank of China, TBC Bank (Georgia) and other authoritative financial institutions. The Banker's award ceremony is the highest standard in banking worldwide, and it has been held for already 18 years. Leading banks from 141 countries took part in the award ceremony this year.
