In the first 11 months of 2017, Armenia recorded an unprecedented high economic activity index of 7.3%. Tigran Khachatryan, RA Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments, said this in a conversation with journalists after the executive session today. In his words, industry, services and trade are the leading directions. In particular, industry has grown by 12%, services and trade - more than 14%. "It is encouraging that this happens under the influence of high export figures," the Deputy Minister said, adding that exports has grown by over 23%.
The next good news, according to Tigran Khachatryan, is that, even after the negative figures recorded in the construction industry in 10 months, it has been recorded a small growth.
He also mentioned that we should summarize the year with the index of economic activity exceeding 7%.
