The Central Bank of Armenia has put into circulation a silver coin named "Hovhannes Zardaryan-100" with a nominal value of 100 drams.

According to the CBA, the silver coin is of 925 sample, weighs 28.28 grams and have been issued 500 coins.

On the front of the coin "Spring" canvas by Hovhannes Zardaryan is depicted.

On the reverse side of the coin there is a portrait of Hovhannes Zardaryan and a piece of his "Aspiration" canvas.

The author of the sketches is Vardan Vardanyan.

The coin has been cut off at the Lithuanian Mint.
