Gross international reserves of Armenia in January-November 2017 decreased by 1.3% to $ 2.174 billion, and this figure rose for 24.1% in a year.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in the structure of reserves $ 2.163 billion were foreign assets in foreign currency, an increase of 23.8% for a year, and only 1.7% in January-November. SDR share in the IMF made $ 11.8 million, having risen 2.2 times for a year, and only 3.4 times in January-November. Specifically, the SDR share in the IMF in the May-June after a sharp increase of 2.8 times, sharply declined in July and continued this trend until the end of October. Nevertheless, a 13 times sharp jump in the IMF's SDR in November secured an upward dynamics, both annually and in 11 months of 2017.

It is noteworthy that the slowdown in gross international reserves from 6.9% in the first quarter to 1.8% in the second quarter, was followed by 3.9% growth in the third quarter, accompanied by a growth of 4 % in foreign assets, the SDR share in the IMF dropped to 87.7%.
