Traffic surveillance cameras will be used by traffic police since February 8.

According to the press service of the Police, the innovation is connected with the fact that one of the main causes of road accidents in the Republic of Armenia in 2018 was the violation of the speed regime.

"Please ask all drivers to observe the traffic rules in all parts of the road, regardless of whether these sections are controlled by special means or by road patrol service and means, or not" the statement said.
