Armenia's gross international reserves in 2012 totaled $ 2,314 billion.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, $ 2.307 billion of them were assets in foreign currency, while SDR's share in the IMF was $ 7.2 million.

For comparison, gross international reserves have grown by 24.2% in 2016, in particular assets in foreign currency - 34.4% and SDR share in the IMF - 21.8%.

Only in the fourth quarter of 2017 gross international reserves have grown by 9.5% (growth of assets in foreign currency - 9.5%), and SDR share in the IMF has increased 8 times. In December 2017, gross international reserves grew by 4.5%, while assets in foreign currency increased by 4.5%, SDR's share in the NFA was around 40%.
