The State Service for Food Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia has suspended Parvana 97 (Kotayk), Etyouni (Kotayk) and Miks Ve Group (Yerevan), as well as bread and confectionery workshops of private entrepreneurs Rada Karamyan (Amavir), Goharik Manukyan (Kotayk), Garnik Sargsyan (Ararat), Astghik Martirosyan (Kotayk).

According to the SSFS, it was found out that the production of bread in these workshops was accompanied by gross violations of the sanitary and hygienic requirements of foodstuffs; appropriate measures to prevent the entry of animals into the preparation, processing, storage and transportation areas, in the fight against pests, the output does not comply with the requirements of normative legal acts defining its quality and security, without the packaging bread had no information leaflet, the staff involved in food chain did not undergo preliminary and regular medical examinations. The operation of the workshops was suspended and was given a deadline for eliminating violations.
