RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan has received Director General of the Department for Eurasia of the Civil Engineering Civil Engineering Corporation of China Zhzian Aymi.

The company is interested in the design and construction of the Armenia-Iran railroad.

According to the Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia, Tszyan Aymin mentioned that the Chinese Ministry of Trade will discuss the possibility to include the project in "One Zone, One Way" project.

The Minister underlined that the project for the construction of the railway is strategically important for Armenia and expressed readiness to discuss the issue with the Chinese Ministry of Trade.

Tzian Ayman, in his turn, added that after completion of the positive process of discussions, they will be ready to carry out technical and economic study of the project.

At the end of the meeting, the sides reached an agreement on the future plans.
