Switzerland has donated 2 units of FLIR 50 heater to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

One of them will be provided to the Nairit Plant special fire brigade of the Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the other to the staff of the Department for the Protection of Population and Disaster Reduction (ESPC).

Devices will periodically check the heat of the chemicals in the plant's premises and initiate preventive actions in fire-hazardous situations. The thermal device catches the infrared beam (heat) of the light.

Through the device, information from the monitoring site will be transmitted over the Internet to the National Crisis Management Center, where relevant specialists will perform the information analysis and will draw conclusions.
