The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs began the process of registration of compensation for deposits of individuals born till December 31, 1932.

According to the ministry's press release, people born till December 31, 1932, who had money deposits in the soviet ruble till June 10, 1993 at the Republican Bank of the former bank of the USSR Savings Bank, have the right to receive compensation:

Persons, who have participated in the Armenian Defense Operations.

Individuals registered as of August 1, 2014 in border communities of Armenia, which were not used as a result of the Armenian defense operations and were bombarded by the enemy.

If the spouse of any of the person listed above is dead and the deposit has been invested in the name of the dead husband during their joint marriage, it shall be deemed to be jointly owned, and this person is entitled to compensation in the amount of 50% of the deposit.

In order to get a compensation for deposit, depositors submit an application and the necessary documents to the territorial office of social assistance to their actual place of residence, either personally or by a representative acting on the basis of a power of attorney.
