RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan has received the delegation of the International Monetary Fund mission led by Hossein Sami.

An IMF program was discussed at the meeting with the International Monetary Fund delegation, which is special, taking into account the progressive development of the Armenian economy, the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian Ministry of Economic Development and Investments reports. The sides emphasized that the new nature of the project could serve as a positive impetus for investors. Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan, pointing to the unprecedented high economic growth recorded in 2017, stressed the need for continuity of reforms. According to the minister, the International Monetary Fund is a permanent partner in these processes.

The continuity of the reforms was particularly highlighted in terms of ensuring higher economic growth indicators in the future.
