Electricity production in Armenia in January-February 2018 amounted to 1502.2 million kWh, an annual increase of 3.5% compared to 10.4% of the previous year. Only in February a 19% decrease was registered to 672.2 million kWh.

According to the National Statistical Service, in January-February 2018, compared with the same period of 2017, TPPs increased electricity production by 7.1% to 704.4 million kWh. At the same time, HPPs reduced electricity production by 1.8% to 531.8 million kWh. Electricity generation in the Armenian NPP increased by 5.5% to 265 million kWh.
