
The Food Safety Inspectorate under the Government of Armenia continues to control the supermarket chain belonging to "Evrika Group" LLC, in 4 other stores of which has been found labeling discrepancies (total of 643 and 49 kg), peas, pickled mushrooms, canned greens, jelly, cocktails, types of cold coffee, olive and corn of different types, olive oil, other vegetable oils, milk, cream, acetic acid, sugar, marinated pork, mustard, cumin, butter, canned white and red beans, condensed milk, marinated garlic, oat flakes, sauces, pomegranate syrup, puff pastry, ketchup, honey, various types of cheese, sweets, canned peppers, various types of sausages, pickled vegetables, khash, sausages , dried and smoked fish, humus, Indian walnuts, beer, meat roll, dumplings. All listed items have been removed from sale. It was instructed to avoid from the food labeling not corresponding to the legislation.
In one of the stores several expired products have been exposed, including bread, spreads, baked ham and sausages, which were removed from the sale and destroyed.
It should be reminded that the Inspection Body has already detected labeling inconsistencies and overdue food in three of the stores of the "Evrika Group" supermarket network within the scope of control.
