As of April 1, 2018 the loss index in terms of Compulsory vehicle insurance has increased in Armenia and voluntary medical insurance has dropped.

According to the Ranking of Insurance Companies of Armenia, as of 31.03.2018, the loss for Compulsory vehicle insurance in the market, on average, increased from 56% to 62.9% on an annual basis, while CASCO recorded 77 66.4% decline. Meanwhile, medical insurance has dropped from 42.7% to 25%.

An annual increase in the rate of damage was also observed in the insurance of departure from abroad - from 19.7% to 28.3% average, property insurance - from 5.4% to 17.3%, cargo insurance - from 2.8% to 10%, financial loss insurance from 75.5% to 85.3%, accident insurance from 9% to 9.8%.
