Vardan Harutyunyan, the chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee, was dismissed from his position on his own request.
Former Deputy Minister of Finance David Ananyan was appointed a new SRC chairman.
"Mr. Harutyunyan informed us yesterday about his intention to resign. By mutual agreement we decided to take a decision today and appoint a new SRC Chairman, "said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The head of government thanked Vardan Harutyunyan for his work and congratulated the newly appointed SRC Chairman.
Vardan Harutyunyan thanked Nikol Pashinyan for accepting and dismissing his application. According to Harutyunyan, revenue collection in the state budget in the first four months of the current year was more than it had been planned by 14 billion drams.
Harutyunyan congratulated the government on the new staff and underlined that the latter could use its potential to implement any government program.
Referring to Harutyunyan's information on revenue collection, the Prime Minister noticed that he hinted about the possibility of increasing that growth.
"The newly appointed SRC President noted that he perceives it as a good wish. We state that our government is a government of good will, "said Pashinyan.
