Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investment Artsvik Minasyan had a meeting with representatives of the Doing Business Group of the World Bank.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the work on improvement of the business environment and reforms, which will allow to improve Armenia's position in WB's "Doing business" Report.

Minister Minasyan presented to the experts a number of changes in the sphere, which essentially facilitated business opportunities.

Reforms have been implemented in legislation that regulates the sphere of assessment. The Minister asked the experts to pay attention to the opportunities provided by the new political situation, stressing that they will continue to work at a new level to adopt the best decisions to improve the business environment through an open and transparent manner.

Doing Business representatives Titsiana Londeron and Parvina Rahimova thanked the Minister for initiating the meeting in a short time and touched upon the preparation process for the autumn report, as well as their impressions of their meetings with Armenian business circles within a week. Experts have pointed to the enthusiasm of businessmen in relation to the new government and political changes, which can have good impetus for business promotion.

Artsvik Minasyan once again assured that the businessmen will be in direct contact with the new tools by implementing the reforms and will address all the issues raised by them.

During the meeting, the possibility to settle issues with representatives of the Evaluating Team through video conferences was discussed, as well as the technical support for a wide range of legislative improvements in the business environment.
