In Armenia, economic activity in January-April of 2018 increased by 9.7%, in particular, export growth was 25.5%, and import growth was 34.3%.

According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Service, the growth of Armenia's economic activity in January-April was mainly conditioned by the construction sector - 21.8%, services - 17.6%, trade - by 10.3%, industry - by 5.2% and agriculture - 2.2% growth. At the same time, annual energy losses fell by 0.4%.

Industrial price index rose by 3.8% for a year in January-April 2018, and only decreased by 1.2% in April.
