President Armen Sargsyan received today the delegation led by the Co-Chairman of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Eastern Europe and Caucasus Francis Maliji.

Greeting the guests, the President of Armenia highly appreciated Armenia's long-term cooperation with the EBRD.

Reaffirming the willingness to continue, the President of Armenia highlighted the importance of public-private partnership in a number of priority areas, the ongoing implementation of small and medium business development programs. Armen Sargsyan proposed to consider the possibilities of developing cooperation in information technology, energy, agriculture, tourism, taking into account the great potential of these industries.

Francis Maliji stressed that the EBRD is interested in expanding cooperation with Armenia and is ready to assist the Government to continue taking steps to improve the business environment for investors, as well as other initiatives for economic development of Armenia.
