Destruction of mining industry in Armenia is full of socio-economic problems. Former Minister of Finance, Financial Director of Vallex Group Vardan Aramyan told journalists about this, referring to the possible consequences of the Amulsar gold project suspension. According to Aramyan, before making any decision it is necessary to weigh everything and make no decisions based on populist statements, which is extremely dangerous.

He noted that the suspension of the Teghut project also had a negative impact on the country's economy. "In fact, the ecological problem was related exclusively to tailing dumps, as the Vallex group is guided by international standards and internal rules of the economy," Aramyan noted.
