According to the updated forecast of the Central Bank of Armenia, the growth of Armenia's GDP in 2018 will be 4.5-6.5%, in 2019 - 4.1-6.2%, in 2020 - 3.9-6.1%, instead of 4.7-5.8%, 4.5-5.9% and 4.4-6% predicted before.

This is stated in the Central Bank's monetary policy program for the second quarter of 2018, published in June. It is also mentioned that the updated private sector consumption forecast is 3.7% and for investments - 9.5%, the impact of which is estimated at 4.6 percentage points on economic growth and the positive impact of exports on GDP growth is 2.6 percentage points.

The Central Bank forecasts an increase in imports by 5-7% in 2018, while export growth is 11%. 13%, instead of 6-8% and 9-10% predicted before. The growth of money transfers in 2018 is projected at 7-9% due to Russia's economic growth forecasts (1.8% in 2018).

The Central Bank expects that the driving force of economic growth will be industry and services, while agriculture and construction will have little impact on GDP growth.
