The Asian Development Bank (ADB) reinforces Central Asian trade finance capabilities through banking partnerships. The second TFP Bank Twinning Trade Finance Program in Central Asia was successfully implemented between Ameriabank and Hamkorbank in Uzbekistan.

According to information posted on ADB's website, the experience and strengths of a more advanced bank within this program are used to prepare a partner bank through the transfer of relevant data on trade finance transactions.

According to the source, as a capacity building tool, this initiative provides banks with more effective assistance in terms of institutional development of trade finance. According to ADB's expectations, it will also help strengthen regional business ties that will secure growth in interregional trade by expanding cooperation across Asia.
