The parliament has adopted a draft amendment to the mandatory accumulative pension system, according to which the pension system participant will pay 2.5% of 10% of his wage earnings instead of the former 5%. It will come into force on July 1.

79 MPs voted for the bill, 2 against and 7 abstentions.

Before the voting, head of the ARF faction Armen Rustamyan stated that they would abstain.
