Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultation, during which issues on government support for the implementation of potential investment programs were discussed. The information and public relations department of the government reports.

"From the first day of the formation of the government, we state that investments in Armenia, including foreign ones, are of great importance to us. During this time there have been many contacts with investors and they have made a number of observations, raised questions. As a result of discussions with investors, such an idea was generated by considering the possibility of applying "one investment window" principle. The point is that an investor has a specific address, where he / she should get support and make a successful investment. The idea is that the potential office has the opportunity and authority to carry out a number of functions on behalf of investors, in the relations with state bodies that are necessary to eventually start operations, "said Nikol Pashinyan.

In this context, the activities of the "Business Armenia" foundation, the assistance rendered by the latter to the investors and the services provided were touched upon. Taking into consideration the proposal of PM Pashinyan, the participants presented various observations, including the activities of the above-mentioned foundation and highlighted the active, immediate and open work with potential investors, the broadening of information on the improvement of the investment environment and possible support. Simultaneously, simplification of tax administration and implementation of reforms were highlighted.

The head of the government also emphasized the need for presenting investment projects to potential investors and the implementation of post-investment support, which will help to record concrete results. Nikol Pashinyan instructed the heads of the responsible departments to continue discussions on these issues with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and present clear proposals in the future.
