
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, 101,492 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables have been exported from Armenia this year, compared to 56,856 tons in the same period last year. 44,131 tons of apricots have been exported against 19,525 tons in the same period last year.
Compared to the same period last year, the export volumes have increased by 44,636 tons or 78.5%. An unprecedented increase in apricot export volumes has been recorded in the current year. This year apricot export has exceeded the figure of the last year (28,447 tons) by 15,657 tons or 55%.
Armenian fruit and vegetables have been exported mainly to the Russian Federation- 94,862 tons, the rest of it to Georgia, Belarus, Iraq, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Belgium, Romania, Kuwait, Qatar and the United States.
