
In the first half of this year, the State Revenue Committee has collected 649.7 billion drams of tax revenues, which is 15.6% more than in the same period last year. 494.8 billion drams were collected from the tax authorities, AMD 152.9 billion from the customs bodies, said SRC President David Ananyan.
"In comparison with the same period last year, the state budget revenues grew by 88.2 billion drams or 15.6 %. The tax increase made 68.9 billion drams or 16.1 %, with a customs clearance of 19.3 billion drams or 14.4 percent. Meanwhile, 32.3 billion drams from 88.2 billion drams were collected in May-June, "the SRC Chairman said.
Touching upon the tax administration's administration, he noticed that the number of complex inspections for six months was 477, which is 21% less than in the same period last year.
According to David Ananyan, the administration is mainly directed to medium and large taxpayers, and smaller ones are taking more preventive measures.
