The students of "Armat" engineering laboratories will represent Armenia at the First Global Robotics Competition in Mexico on August 16-18.

Executive Director of the Union of Leading Technology Enterprises (ULTE) Karen Vardanyan, co-founder and executive director of Armenia's team in Mexico Hayk Yesayan and Ameriabank IT and Automation Department Head Shavarsh Voskanyan informed about this.

Executive Director of the ULTE Karen Vardanyan noted that "Armmat" students had excellent knowledge of robotics and could represent Armenia at the International Robotics Olympiad.

"By constantly investing innovative technologies, Ameriabank attaches importance to the process of educating and developing the generation of technological progress and has joined this project with love. Participation in the international competition is a great opportunity to get new knowledge and experience, "said Shavarsh Voskanyan, Head of Ameriabank's IT and Automation Unit.

First Global is an international robot challenge, involving 14-18 year-olds from 160 countries. The aim of the competition is to unite the youth, to inspire them with their technology and innovation capabilities, to create platforms for creating solutions to global issues and to improve the quality of life.
