"Sanitek" company has been facing certain issues since its inception, "director of the company Nicholas Tawil stated at the meeting with journalists.

He mentioned that the agreement signed with the Municipality of Yerevan contains the following items: collection of household garbage, which does not include construction waste, garbage disposal of garbage cans, but not garbage inside the building.

"Today we have 150 garbage trunks and 9,000 trash cans. However, there are more than 1,000 burnt and 2,000 damaged garbage bins, which resulted in a loss of $ 700,000. There is also a problem with small garbage bins, which are used for large household waste. And large garbage bins continue to be filled with construction waste. After all the losses, the company has invested more than 500,000 euros, buying new cars and spare parts, and hiring a team to carry garbage from garbage pipes, "said Tawil.

He admitted that they did not carry out proper garbage removal in the last three months, but added that in the next two days the citizens will feel that the situation is being regulated.

"New cars are on the way, and next week they will be in Yerevan. After the election of the new mayor, we will discuss all the issues at the table, after which we will understand whether we will make a new 7 million euro investment or not. We want to change the whole car park and bring it to a stabile state, this will be after discussions with the new mayor, "said the director.

The official said that the municipality has fined them for about 25 million drams, but the company asks the municipality to buy garbage cans with this sum and place it in different parts of the city.
