Business Armenia team led by Armen Avak Avakyan, executive director, was in Lebanon on September 22-26. During the visit, agreements on new investments have been reached in Armenia.
This is the third outgoing business mission to Lebanon. Business Armenia team has moved to a practical stage the agreements reached on investments during the previous visits and laid the foundation for new contacts. A series of meetings were held between the Lebanese investors and the heads of partner organizations.
"We are updating our former business contacts at every new business mission, taking our business arrangements to a more practical phase and attracting new investments," said Armen Avak Avakyan, Executive Director of Business Armenia.
At the meeting with the Armenian business team, Chedid Capital Holding Chairman Farid Chedid has expressed intention to open a branch of insurance company in Armenia. Chedid Capital has branches in 5 countries around the world.
As a result of another meeting, Makitec CEO Garo Matosyan intends to invest $ 250,000 in production of plastic molding and industrial machine components in Armenia.
The Mac Agro cemicals Company is considering the issue of opening a branch office in Armenia, which is engaged in production of fertilizers and pesticides. A number of businessmen are going to visit the country in the near future to study projects on the spot.
