The Ministry of Health of Armenia, jointly with the Armenian Helicopters LLC, is preparing to create a sanaviation service in 2019. Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Torosyan made a note about this on his Facebook page.

“This morning we flew in one of the helicopters of the company Armenian Helicopters LLC, with which we are going to create a real sanaviation service in 2019 for the first time in the history of independent Armenia.

The purpose of the test was to mark the landing sites at two large medical centers in Yerevan. We are talking about the medical centers of St. Grigor Lusavorich and Erebuni. We found suitable landing points in both places.

The service will start working within 3-4 months, since the helicopters must be upgraded accordingly, and the mechanism for delivering patients from the regions to Yerevan should be developed in detail.

I will give additional information on further development”, Torosyan wrote.
