December 6th, 2018 The final match and the closing ceremony of the VTB League football tournament, organized by VTB Bank (Armenia) among government officials, took place in the Dynamo gym in Yerevan.
The final match took place between the teams of the RA Police and the RA Ministry of Defense. The game turned out to be tense and dynamic, and the spectators and fans, who vigorously support the players, gave a special sports mood.
The match ended with the score 4-2 the victory of the team of the Ministry of Defense.
The prize fund of “VTB League” tournament was announced in the amount of 2 million 200 thousand Armenian drams, which was distributed among the winners as follows:
• The 1st prize went to the team of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and received 1,000,000 Armenian drams.
• 2nd prize went to the team of the RA Police and the prize was AMD 700,000
• The 3rd prize went to the team of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia with a prize of 500,000 Armenian drams.
The closing ceremony was held in a festive atmosphere and was accompanied by a festive performance of the rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Armenia.
RA Defense Minister David Tonoyan, Valeriy Osipyan, Police Chief of RA, Gabriel Ghazaryan, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, and Ivan Telegin, General Director - Chairman of the Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia), came to support the teams.
The sports festival was crowned with salute and applause in honor of the winning team.
