Raiffeisen Bank International presented quarterly profit on Wednesday, which has exceeded all forecasts of economists due to the reduction of risk.

The Australian bank also said that in 2018 they expect better financial results.

The gross net profit for the quarter, which ended on December 31, increased to 206 million euros ($ 255.1 million), exceeding analyst forecasts by 166 million euros.

Raiffeisen's annual net profit doubled on the basis of pro-forma from EUR 520 million to € 1.20 billion. Analysts predicted 1.08 billion.
