Russia's international reserves grew by 0.6 % in a week and amounted to $ 455.2 billion as of March 9 against $ 452.3 billion on March 2, the Russian Bank reported.

"The amount of international reserves increased by $ 2.9 billion or 0.6 % during the week, and amounted to $ 455.2 billion as of March 9," the CB said.

International (gold) reserves of Russia are high liquidity foreign assets, which are at the disposal of the Bank of Russia and the Government.
