L'Oreal, a French cosmetic manufacturer, announced the acquisition of Canadian ModiFace company, acting in the sphere of additional reality and artificial intelligence within the framework of the Digital Technology Development Program, reports Finam.ru.

It is worth noting that in the Canadian company, founded 11 years ago, there are 70 engineers working on a virtual 3D make-up. It is reported that ModiFace will continue to stay in Toronto after the deal. Other details of the purchase have not been reported.
