Mass media reported on sharp reduction of deposits in Latvian banks. According to BaltNews.lv, in March 2018 this figure fell by 6.2 % (1.209 billion euros) to 18,176 billion euros.
Earlier in February, the volume of deposits decreased by 1,012 billion euros.
On April 5, Bloomberg also reported that a number of Baltic banks refused to deal with non-residents.
