New Google Chrome updates aimed to ease the use of the browser, may be vulnerable to fishing attacks, BleepingComputer reports referring to experts.

In the latest version of the browser, the www and m subdomains are automatically erased from the address bar. Innovations refer only to the appearance of the pages. Google Chrome monitors queries and removes the redundant part of the address by itself.

Experts believe that such an update can make users visit more and more fishing sites.
