Berkshire Hathaway holding company known investor Warren Buffett made another bet in the US banking system. In the third quarter, the company acquired $ 4 billion worth of shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Now the company owns a large share of assets of three of the largest four US banks.

JPMorgan Chase & Co is the largest US bank by assets. Berkshire also owns 9% of Bank of America Corp. and Wells Fargo & Co. These banks are in second and fourth place in the United States in terms of assets. According to Facset, new investments in JPMorgan provide Berkshire with 1% of the bank’s capital, but do not allow it to be included in the top five major shareholders.

Berkshire Hathaway is a US multinational holding conglomerate headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. The company fully owns GEICO, BNSF Railway, Lubrizol, Dairy Queen, Fruit of the Loom, Helzberg Diamonds, FlightSafety International and NetJets, 26 percent in the Kraft Heinz Company, partly in Mars (size is not announced) and holds significant but not dominant shares in American Express, The Coca-Cola Company, Wells Fargo, IBM and Restaurant Brands International.

The company is known for managment by Warren Buffet, who is the chairman of the board of directors, the president and chief executive officer, and Charlie Manger, who is the vice chairman of the board of directors.

Berkshire Hathaway is the fourth largest public company in the world.
