The construction of underwater sector of "Turkish Stream" gas pipeline in Black sea has been started.
Construction began from the Russian coasts. 900 km long pipe will be installed for each stream on the floor of Black sea.
The pipeline will have capacity of 30 billion cubic meters annually. “Allseas” company implements the construction.
"Gazprom" president Alexei Miller said that they will strictly follow the schedule, by the end of 2019, the Turkish and European partners can expect a new route for Russian gas supplies.
The agreement of "Turkish Stream" gas pipeline between Russia and Turkey was signed in October 2016. The first pipe is designed to bring Russian gas to Turkey, the second is for Southern and South Eastern European countries.
