At the Astana EXPO-2017 exhibition the National Day of Armenia was celebrated. The Armenian pavilion and events dedicated to the National Day of Armenia have caused great interest among visitors.

President of the State Tourism Committee of the RA Ministry of Economic Development and Investments Zarmine Zeytuntsian, Director of the Tourism Development Fund of Armenia Ara Khzmalyan and Deputy Head of the Armenian Pavilion Erik Grigoryan participated in the events dedicated to the National Day of Armenia.

Representatives of Kazakh culture, representatives of tourism and high-ranking officials were present at the event.

Armenia is actively involved in the study and application of alternative energy opportunities and looks at the most promising directions as solar energy, hydropower and geothermal energy. Armenia represented solar energy development technology at the 2017 Astana Expo.

Armenia also came to the exhibition as an attractive tourist destination. Speaking at the event, Zarmine Zeytuntsyan, Chair of the State Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, emphasized the country's tourism attractiveness.

Within the framework of the national day, the Armenian pavilion presented a presentation about Armenia and a film about Armenian tourism, advertising videos about Armenia, excursion programs, informational materials for visitors, as well as gifts "Made in Armenia".
