Byblos Bank Armenia CJSC and American University of Armenia have launched a joint program, under which AUA students who are studying for a Master's degree or need financial support can pay their rent using an affordable loan.

According to the report, a new lending program has been developed that will make higher education more accessible and affordable.

The program envisages funding up to 80% of the tuition fee at only 5% annual interest rate with a grace period repayment option. In the course of the study and within the next 6 months only loan interest will be paid, and over the next 30 months, the principal amount and interest.

The credit on preferential terms will be provided to students in case of availability of positive credit history in Armenian drams and with guarantee of two persons.
