Yerevan Brandy Factory will launch grape purchase at Armavir Branch on September 15. According to the factory press service, on September 16, the Aygavan branch will join the company. The date for the start of grape purchase at the Berd branch will be announced additionally.
By focusing on viticulture in the border regions of Armenia, YBC is ready to purchase 100 percent of the crops corresponding to the relevant varieties of border villages and YBC quality standards.
This year the Yerevan Brandy Company will buy 30,000 grapes, for which it will pay about 4 billion drams.
Being faithful to its multi-year approach to payment organization, this year, each farmer will get the amount from YBC in three or four banking days after handing over the grapes.
The price per 1 kg of grape is AMD 130 for all branches. It should be noted that in previous years Berd branch was paying less than 10 drams for grapes purchased by the YBC as the sugar content of grape in the region was lower.
