The government allocated 1 billion 665 million 144.3 drams from the reserve fund to ensure the regular work of the State Revenue Committee.

These funds will be used for salaries, bonuses and cash incentives of SRC employees. According to the decision from May 18, 2017 the government has reorganized the SRC system, and territorial divisions were reorganized as supreme body units of the SRC, tax inspectorates and departments, as a result of which employees' salaries were increased. As a result, the salary fund approved at the beginning of the year 2017 will lack in 389,203.5 thousand drams to pay salaries (main salaries, supplements and vacation payments) until the end of the year. This is also the consequence of the monetary compensation paid to the dismissed employees in 2017 for unused vacations for the previous years.

The decision is also conditioned by the fact that employees of high-performance in tax and customs bodies should be rewarded by the end of the year to ensure the proper functioning of the SRC, which will also contribute to improving the efficiency of corruption risk reduction in the SRC system. As a result, it is envisaged to have tax and customs systems that meet modern requirements, which have adequate capacities for reducing state revenue, shadow economy and are competitive in member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, contributing to the improvement of the business environment.
