With the support of the Development Fund of Armenia, Yerevan Expo Exhibition Center opened an Iranian multifunctional trade and industrial exposition, with 49 Iranian companies. The Iranian business has come to the expo in Yerevan with a wide range of products, including household appliances, chemical, printing, packaging equipment, agricultural machinery, metalworking, textile and other industries.
"I hope these exhibitions will become traditional, with their contribution to the development of Armenian-Iranian trade and economic ties," said RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan.
An exhibition of Armenian goods was held in Tehran on October 5-8, with participation of 103 Armenian companies. "This is a logical continuation of the exhibition organized by the Foundation in Iran and aims to strengthen economic ties between Armenian and Iranian businessmen. By the way, the Armenian companies returned with 9 contracts, one of which was an exclusive export contract and two memoranda of cooperation, " said Avetis Hovhannisyan, Project Manager of the Armenian Development Fund.
"This exhibition will raise awareness of Iranian goods, and this will also create grounds for importing Iranian goods, semi-finished products for further processing in our country, establishing joint production here and exporting to third countries," said Deputy Minister of RA, Hovhannes Azizyan.
