A criminal case has been instituted at the Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia on the case of robbery of the branch manager of "Converse Bank" CJSC.

2017 On October 9, it was reported that a large amount of money was stolen from the "Sayat-Nova" branch of "Converse Bank" CJSC operating on Sayat-Nova Avenue in Yerevan.

The investigative-operative group left for the crime scene immediately.

According to preliminary data, the alleged criminal stole a particularly large amount of money on October 9, at 11:00 am, threatening the life of the branch manager of the bank, namely, threatening to explode the branch. According to preliminary calculations, a cash amount in various currencies equivalent to 95,750,000 drams was stolen

On the occasion of the incident, a criminal case has been instituted in the Investigation Department of the Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of the RA Ministry of Defense on the grounds of Article 175, Part 3, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.

The necessary investigative and operative search measures are being taken to find out the circumstances of the case and to identify the alleged criminal. For the benefit of the investigation, other details are not subject to disclosure at this stage of the investigation.
