Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan today received a group of international investors representing various companies led by the President and CEO of Lydian International, Howard Stevenson.

Prime Minister Karapetyan attached importance to the investment program implemented by Lydian International in Armenia and noted that the Government of the Republic of Armenia in all initiatives aimed at economic development and employment growth, is standing next to investors as a partner.

At the same time, the prime minister underlined the importance of environmental and social obligations by the company.

Karen Karapetyan presented to the investors the current state and prospects of our country's economy, adding that the recorded economic trends can be a good basis for ensuring stable and lasting growth. At the same time, the Prime Minister urged investors to consider Armenia as a good platform for entry into the Eurasian and Iranian markets, given the favorable trade regime.

Howard Stevenson noted that by the example of "Lydian International" they always try to present to international investors that Armenia can be a favorable business environment. He also assured that all the commitments and social and environmental programs that were set by the schedule would be implemented and added that both the communities and the state should benefit from the program they initiated.

In the course of the meeting, Prime Minister Karapetyan answered the questions of investors, which were mainly related to the government's reforms and steps to improve the business environment.
